At Rice Lake Construction, safety isn’t a policy – it’s a practice lived out on every jobsite, every day. We’re proud to share that Rice Lake has been recognized with a National AGC Safety Award (NASA) from the Associated General Contractors of America for the second year in a row – a milestone that reflects our team’s ongoing commitment to bringing everyone home safe.
This program has been benchmarking safety records among AGC member companies since 1991. It’s a meaningful way for companies with strong safety cultures to pursue national recognition, and equally useful as a tool for identifying areas to strengthen accident-prevention and loss-control efforts. Awards are given to companies that achieve either a zero-incidence rate (like Rice Lake) or an incidence rate at least 25% below their occupational division’s average.
Earning this recognition is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it belongs to every person on our team. From our field crews who follow safe work practices without cutting corners, to our project managers and superintendents who prioritize safety planning from day one, this award reflects a company-wide standard we’re committed to upholding.
Safety in construction isn’t just about compliance; it’s about people. We believe the best projects are built by teams that go home in the same condition they arrived. Thank you to our crew, our partners, and our clients for making that possible.
